ORGANISATION OF CLASSES
Class organisation may vary from year to year and is dependent on the number of students in each grade and the ratio of staff to students in each grade.
Classes may be:
Parallel- varied ability in each class
Composite- combination of two or more grades
Gifted and Talented- There is a gifted and talented unit at the school in Years 3 to 6. Entry is dependent on academic capacity and performance. High ability students need to meet testing criteria.
The decision of class organisation for each year is made after discussion and consideration of many factors.
OUT OF HOURS SCHOOL CARE (OOSH)
Out of hours school care is available on the school site, providing a quality and convenient service to the community. This service is operated by the community. A fee is payable for this service. Vacation care is also available.
